DIED -- At Sheridan, Wyo., Wednesday morning, Oct. 8, 1890, of rheumatism of the heart, David Dunnuck, in the 45th year of his age.

This community was startled Wednesday morning upon learning that our popular and highly esteemed townsman, David Dunnuck, had been found dead in his private room attached to the post office, to which he had retired alone at about 7 o'clock on the previoius evening. He had been troubled from some time past with rheumatism of the heart, and had spent some weeks during the summer at the hot springs in Montana with the hope of obtaining relief. He was not feeling any worse than usual on the preceding day, and neigher he or his friends entertained any serious doubts of his ultimate recovery.

Mr. Dunnuck was born in Ohio in 1845, and came to this county in 1880, with Captain E. (Emanuel) Cross, who is a cousin to the deceased and his only relative in this country. Mr. Dunnuck was a member of the Cross Cattle Co., of this county, a director and stockholder in the Bank of Sheridan, and a member of Sheridan Lodge No. 9, Knights of Pythias. He was a general favorite with all, serupulously honest and fair-minded in all his dealing with his fellow men, and a deep gloom is cast over the entire community by his sudden and untimely demise.

The funeral will take place from the M. E. church this afternoon at 3 o'clock. The remains have been embalmed, placed in a metallic casket, and will be interred in the Sheridan cemetery.
